Stories, Poems And Songs From The Heart Of An Old Farmer
Booklet (some of books contents)
A compilation of poems, and lyrics. They really do come from the heart of former dairy farmer who sincerely desires to share his love for Jesus and God’s True Word the Holy Bible with you. Farm Country Gospel Music was formed with this purpose in mind.
As a farmer, God’s presence was felt every day of my life, and seen in all his creation which surrounded me everywhere I looked. I am thankful that he allowed me to spend my life in such close communion with Him.
I’m also thankful for my wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and relatives. My work as a result of the parts they all played in my life.
My wife, Ruth, has been so much more than a wife; my partner, my inspiration, and my sounding board for everything I write; my greatest blessing.
John 15:12-13
My command is this; love each other as I have
loved you. Greater love has no one than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends. (NIV)
Mark 1:15
The time has come, He said. the kingdom of
God is near. Repent and believe the Good
News. (NIV)
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and
lean not on your own understanding; in all
your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make
your paths straight. (NIV)
Proverbs 31: 30-31
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be
praised. Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city
gate. (NIV)
